My current computer that I no longer use, still works fine but I'm taking the hard drive out to use in a new computer so you just need new storage (You can get a HDD or SSD as cheap as $35 brand new) and it's good to go, or I can sell components separately.
Motherboard + Processor
ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 + AMD Phenom II X6 1055t: $140 Together
Still runs strong, hexa-core CPU good for multi-tasking, rendering, photshop etc and still definitely good enough for all games these days with no bottlenecks on GPU. Motherboard includes pci wifi. Motherboard's 3.5mm output doesn't work propery. If you use a usb headset or other usb sound it still works fine, otherwise you can purchase the pci-e soundcard below.
Soundcard:
ASUS Xonar DGX 5.1-Channel Gaming Sound Card: $30
Good soundcard with amp that has been driving my relatively expensive headphones, also has eq and many other features to create a good sound.
Graphics Card:
Gigabyte AMD / ATI HD 6850 OC Edition: $100
Factory (meaning it came like this out of the box and is safe and stable and reliable) overclocked, never been OC'd past the stock OC, no problems at all, runs all modern games at 50-60FPS on low-medium, and 30FPS on high-ultra. Much better than any other card you could get for $100.
Case + PSU:
Thermaltake Element-T + Thermaltake LitePower 430W: $50 together
Good, gamer looking case, black with red highlights theme. Has an aftermarket 140mm bitfenix orange fan to replace the stock one for a cooler, quiter upgrade. Case is missing rubber feet and has some minor scratches on lid due to colliding with opening while removing it, due to non-gloss black finish these scratches are only visible at very close range with the light angle of lighting. Power button also has loose / faulty wiring and can take 2-3 tries to get it to work. PSU makes a faint whirring / beeping noise when the computer is shut down but the PSU is still turned on and plugged in, it completely goes away when the computer is turned on, or PSU turned off / unplugged. This a sign of age. Other than that, it drives all these components well and has never crashed or failed even once.
RAM:
4gb (2x2gb): $25
Not sure on brand, but it's standard 1333mhz and has no problems.
$200 for the lot minus the ram and gpu, $210 with ram, $300 for everything. Feel free to call or text me about the PC / components, email is fine as well but won't be as fast as a response. ******3372 + click to reveal
